Hello, I’m Mary, an international award-winning pet photographer who has dedicated years to capturing the love of dogs and the people who love them.
This season, as the lavender drifts into bloom, I invite you and your pup into a private portrait experience unlike anything else in Tasmania.
There has not been a single pet - nervous, reactive, timid or exuberant - that I have not been able to photograph beautifully.
your lavender portrait experience offers:
empty rows of violet fields at Bridestowe Lavender Farm
a quiet, unrushed pace
No crowding.
No chaos.
Just you, your dog, and the beauty of a summer sunset in the lavender fields, capturing moments to enjoy for a lifetime.
Only 6 sessions will be offered this season. Two options.
Both held at sunset, simply choose how you’d like your story kept.
These sessions are a fine art experience focused on creating printed artwork, with most clients investing between $1200 - $2,000 on their final artwork.

"Loved working with Mary. Very easy going and friendly. My two dogs both loved her, even though one is normally scared of new people. Millie went first and ran for the tulips, where she just ran Mary over, but had a blast!
Then I booked in another photo shoot for my in-laws for family photos with their dog Bella. It was also very relaxed, with a lot of options for poses and different types of photos all in the one area.
James, my nervous nelly of a dog who normally shakes and hides behind me with new people, while Mary was on the ground waiting for the sunrise to come up at the lavender farm, he walked over and asked for pats and cuddles.
All in all, my favourite pet photographer Her products are always well made. Thank you, Mary, for the amazing photos and memories of my babies!"

Absolutely, most of the dogs I photograph can barely sit still for a second, but that's not necesary for their session, we will get gorgeous images regardless, there hasn't been a dog I couldn't photograph yet!
That's ok! 90% of the dogs you see in my gallery had a leash on, I edit them out! Leash is often prefered for their safety, and in some places like the private flower farms, leash is a requirement. An example below of a leash removed.
I really want art work of my fur family together but they won't sit together long enough for a photo, can you make that happen?
In the event the dogs will absolutely not sit together, I can take separate photos of the dogs and merge them together through post editing. The dogs in the image below, were all photographed separetely in the same session. This beautiful image is now in a large framed canvas in the owner's living room.
